RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolve RFIs related to export documentation from customers, GBS, and other departments.
- Support GBS in communications with customers and other departments as needed.
- Collect original Letters of Indemnity (LOIs) for amendments and send confirmations to GBS.
- Amend bills of lading from status 30.
- Notify filing agents of customs re-filing if amendments are made.
- Send notices to Points of Interest (POI) for issuing Original Bills of Lading (OBL) in third countries.
- Check and collect original LOIs for telex releases/seaway bills.
- Print and release original B/L after confirming vessel sale, loading, and payment.
- Send telex release and seaway bill notices for non-credit customers.
- Communicate with the Port of Destination (POD) for cargo release.
- Liaise with customers on group procedures.
- Coordinate with HO DOC via Zendesk for special customer requirements.
- Submit e-manifest of export cargo to Vietnamese customs.
- Address all requests submitted.
- Maintain turnaround time (TAT) for cases under 2 working hours.
REQUIREMENTS
- College/Bachelor’s degree in Sea Transportation, Export-Import, International Business, Foreign Trade, etc.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position in a shipping company or freight forwarder.
- Hard-working, customer service mindset, proactive, patient, careful, and attentive to details.
- Skills: Time management, Problem-solving, Good communication, Work well under high pressure.
- English communication skills.
- Intermediate level of MS Office.
